A puppy is extremely inquisitive and curious; it wants to sniff everything, look at everything, to chase each butterfly. It will be good, if the owner directs this attention to everything and everyone into the training, while, each time calling favorite's name clearly. When it does everything correctly, it is necessary to encourage the puppy something tasty.

Interesting walks

The first few weeks, a small pet will walk the footsteps of the master, and with great joy will watch everything happening around. Nevertheless, very soon, it will not be interesting to follow the master everywhere. Much more interesting is an acquaintance with other dogs, strange smells around, people and sounds. You have to play with the puppy if you do not want him to forget about you:

• - Hide behind a bush or a tree, and call it by its name;
• - Go through the log; walk across the creek;
• - Share track of food and let your puppy off the leash.

For each exercise and order done, the puppy should be praised, encouraged and stroked. You can prepare a puppy to follow such orders as - "Sit!", "Place!", "Touch!".

Modern methods of education and training

The puppy learns much more quickly in a relaxed atmosphere than under pressure and hateful eyes of the owner. The puppy strives to understand the master and the owner needs only show and clearly tell it what to do. The best way to reach an understanding is a promotion that will reinforce proper behavior of the little restless. The puppy quite often shows the master it can behave properly, so it is sufficient to show the owner sees this and is happy about it.

Encouragement

If the food is properly used in training of a puppy, it is not a bribe. Using delicious cookies, you can encourage your pet at the right time. As soon as a delicacy is eaten, it is possible to continue an interesting exercise. Instead of dog biscuits, a puppy can be encouraged verbally - "Good boy!", "Good girl!", but the pet must be taught to react on these words. You also need time to teach your puppy to respond to the clicker: it is a key with a snapping button, which will require a lot of patience and time. Then, it will be possible to encourage the dog even at a distance, for the correct order following.

Success without pressure!

If you drag the puppy on the leash, it automatically causes its resistance. Do not do that! The result: it will not happily run alongside the master on a dangling leash. Best of all, teaching the puppy to the leash, give it a piece of goodies from time to time, just for the fact that it dutifully goes side by side without pulling the leash. Over time, the puppy will learn happily accompany beloved master at the desired distance and then, you can start training the command "Heel!".
