International organization, the official headquarters is located in Thuin (Belgium). Now FCI brings together some 80 countries. A collaboration with the US and UK dog owners.
The main task of the FCI is to support and promote the breeding of purebred dogs and use, and is primarily:
1. Common system of issuing genealogies of the Unified studbook in each country
2. The free exchange of dogs, Dog information and experts
3. Support for the organization of exhibitions, tests, mutual recognition of nurseries and plants, as well as titles and ranks dogs.
Only the organization holds annual World Dog Show all breeds, which involved more than 15,000 dogs.
