Samoyeds are well-built, sturdy and muscled dogs with a deep chest.

Health and stamina of Samoyeds allowed them not only to survive but to work for the benefit of human in the harsh Arctic environment.

Temper

This dog likes to be in the high light. Samoyed, as a rule, gets on well with other animals and not only with dogs. We can tell from experience that friendship with cats and goats isn’t uncommon for this breed.

They are extremely flexible, strong physical exertion is necessary for them, so this dog would feel bad with busy people which don’t have time for them. Walks must be daily and dynamic, at least for 1-1.5 hour. Otherwise the dog starts to misbehave: barks constantly, bites things, scrabbles and does many other things because its energy is limitless.

It's playful and dynamic all life if the conditions of living are right. It will be a perfect friend and companion for children in games. Samoyed is very brainy dog, kind and obedient.

Training and ownership

They are easily trained but at the same time can show their stubborn and independent nature. This dog isn’t only for people who have experience in dogs training and strong temper. Beginners can also obtain absolute obedience from their pets with right training.

It's a very smart dog.

White hair’s treatment isn’t such problematic as it seems at first. Its hair has an excellent property – it’s self-cleaning. If your dog is dirty, then in 1.5- 2 hours it will be white again when hair goes dry. Due to a special structure of every hair dirt falls down and your pet is clean and beautiful again. Regular comb depends only on the owner.

Samoyed is a lively and cheerful snow ball which can bring a lot of joy to its owner.
